New York Orchid Show 2013: Oncidiums

     Oncidium hybrids and intergenics were some of the best represented genera at the New York Orchid show this year. There were giant sprays of these blooms absolutely everywhere throughout the greenhouses.  I hope you enjoy these as much as I did.

    The unlabeled intergeneric is probably Odontonia Papageno 'Mi Amour' or one of the other Odontonia Papageno cultivars.

    1. That's a really good guess. I looked so long for the tag, because I really liked those flowers, but couldn't find anything in the vicinity.

  4. how do you get a Odontoglossum catatante 'Kilauea Karma' to re-bloom? It was given as a gift to us in full bloom about 1-1/2 years ago. It has not bloomed since, no spikes or otherwise any sort of flowers at all. It is feed with liquid orchid food every 2 wks, in a bright lite window, mild temperatures day and night, no direct sun, in side house. Thanks for suggestions, Mike in Gilroy California 1-26-2015
